Volleyball Camps and Clinics
Arroyo Beach Volleyball Sleepaway
Surf Camp
Nestled in Ocean Beach San Diego, Southern California can make
claim to having the first ever, Beach volleyball overnight camp.
Participants stay for a week at the University of San Diego where
they have full access to all facilities and shuttled to and from
the beach. Beach volleyball training is provided to all skills
levels. The goal of the program is to help transition those who
aspire to play sand volleyball in College now that sand volleyball
is an emerging sport at the NCAA level. In Addition surf, body
boarding, skim boarding and snorkeling lessons are provided with
a volleyball and surf contest at the end of the week. The beauty
of the program we can now invite the entire world into our back
yard to learn play and compete at a high level.

Arroyo Volleyball Clinic
This clinic is designed to teach athletes the basic skills: serving,
passing, setting offense, and defense. In addition to improving
their fundamental skills, intermediate and advanced players will
receive specialized training in the positions of which they choose
to focus. All participants are required to wear tennis shoes,
tee-shirts, shorts, and bring water.
The Clinic runs every Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:45 PM at the Pasadena
Boys & Girls Club, 2020 Fair Oaks Blvd, Pasadena. The cost
of the clinic is $50 a month. Please contact Robert Bethea at

Summer Volleyball Clinic
This clinic is designed for boys and girls age 11 to 16. Students
will learn the basic skills including serving, passing, setting,
offense, and defense. In addition to improving their fundamental
skills, intermediate and advanced players will receive specialized
training in the positions of which they choose to focus. All participants
are required to wear tennis shoes, tee-shirts, shorts, and
bring water. All You Can Eat every other week.

Beach Volleyball Camp
This camp is designed for boys and girls ages 8 to 16. Students
will learn the basic skills including serving, passing, setting,
offense, and defense. In addition to improving their fundamental
skills, intermediate and advanced players will receive specialized
training in beach volleyball. All participants are required to
bring beach wear, footwear, towel, lunch, and water.
Beach Camp is held Mondays through
Fridays at Will Rogers State Beach. Transportation is provided.
Cost is $325 per 1-week session.

We also have a Beach Volleyball
Sleep Away Surf Camp this summer (June 26 to August 12) at
the beautiful beachfront campus of the University of San
Diego. Students will participate in extensive beach and indoor
volleyball training while incorporating unique cross training
through surfing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding with the
Ocean Experience Surf School. For

Volley Tots
Get those little ones up and moving! This program, for kids in
kindergarten through 3rd grade, emphasizes motor learning and
development through various volleyball skills. The program includes:
FUNdamentals; court-related movement; hand-eye development with
ball; body movement and ball work; footwork and agility; and an
introduction to the sport of volleyball.

Volley Tots will be held Monday through
Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 7:00 PM during the Summer. Cost
is $200 per two-week session.

Mini Volleyball
This is a great program for boys and girls in the 4th and 5th
grades who want to learn volleyball with fun and enjoyment being
the focal point. This type of volleyball incorporates team play
with motor learning and skill development. This program will also
involve tournament play. The program includes: lower net and smaller
court; four players per side when playing; lighter ball; skill
development; group performance; over net and multiple contact
emphasis; and a focus on passing, serving and attacking.
